LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A restaurant serving Korean fried chicken and street food has plans to open in early 2024 in a prominent location along Frankfort Avenue in Clifton.

CM Kitchen posted on its Facebook page plans for a new restaurant. It'll take over a space previously occupied by Comfy Cow, which, back in October, said it was closing its shop in the Clifton neighborhood at 2221 Frankfort Ave. The Louisville ice cream company restored a dilapidated Queen Anne house and constructed a commissary kitchen and retail space on the former Genny’s Diner site in 2013.

In January 2021, Comfy Cow said it planned to move its headquarters and production from the Frankfort Avenue location to help centralize online deliveries and logistics for the Louisville area stores.
